rolls out 2012 ‘One-Stop Shop’ program
for businessmen

City Mayor Lani Cayetano urged her constituents to
take advantage of the city hall’s ongoing “One-Stop
Shop” application for business permits, as she
expressed confidence that this year’s program
will surpass its record last year.
According to Mayor Lani, the City Hall commenced the
15-day One-Stop Shop program under the Business Permit
and Licensing Office (BPLO) last January 2 and would
stay open until January 20 this year. Transactions
are being carried out at the City Hall Auditorium.
Introduced by the Cayetano administration in 2011,
the One-Stop Shop program brings together in one place
all the offices needed in the process of renewing
business permits and business licenses, thus saving
her constituents time, effort and resources.
“Local residents who are seeking permits for
their business or those looking to have their business
permits renewed can expect the same quick and efficient
service with this year’s One-Stop Shop,”
said Mayor Cayetano.
“Here in Taguig, we consider this as a matter
of urgency. We salute those who are striving hard
to get food on their tables and in the process helping
our city step into progress by revitalizing the local
business sector,” the lady mayor stressed.
Lawyer Darwin Icay, chief of the Public Information
Office (PIO) and spokesperson of the young mayor,
said the program was so well-received in 2011 that
a total of 6,377 business owners and proprietors were
serviced. This is marked improvement from the past
administration’s record.
“If these numbers are any indication, we can
safely say that the business community here in Taguig
has expressed its full confidence in the governing
style of Mayor Lani,” Icay said.
Meanwhile, Mayor Lani said her administration is always
looking for ways to make City Hall transactions easier
and more convenient for business owners and proprietors
in Taguig.
The different departments comprising the One-Stop
Shop are the Treasurer’s Office, Assessor’s
Office for those paying Real Property Tax, Fire Department,
Sanitation, General Services Office and BPLO. ###

Shop Program para sa mga negosyante sa Taguig inumpisahan
na!
Hinimok ni Taguig city Mayor Lani Cayetano ang mga
negosyante sa lungsod na samantalahin ang ginaganap
na “one stop shop” para sa pagkuha ng
business permit, kasabay ng pahayag na kumpiyansa
siyang hihigitan nito ang naitalang record ng nagdaang
taon.
Ayon kay Mayor Lani, ang 15-araw na One-Stop Shop
Program na pinangangasiwaan ng Business Permit and
Licensing Office (BPLO) ay sinimulan na nitong Enero
2. Ito ay tatagal hanggang sa ika- 20 ng Enero sa
City Hall Auditorium.
Ang One-Stop Shop program na sinimulan ng Cayetano
Administration noong 2011 ay naglalayong pagsama-samahin
sa isang lugar ang iba’t ibang tanggapan na
nagpo-proseso ng mga papeles para mapabilis ang pagkuha
ng business permit at business license.
“Makakaasa ng mabilis at episyenteng serbisyo
sa One-Stop Shop yaong mga Taguigueno na kumukuha
o di kaya ay nagre-renew ng mga business permit,”
pahayag ni Mayor Cayetano.
“Dito sa Taguig, ang pagpo-proseso ng business
permit at business license ay itinuturing naming napakahalagang
pangangailangan. Sinasaluduhan namin ang mga indibidwal
na nagsusumikap sa paghahanapbuhay. Sila ang katuwang
ng lungsod sa pagbuhay sa ating local business sector,”
giit ng alkalde.
Sinabi ni Atty. Darwin Icay, hepe ng Public Information
Office (PIO) at tagapagsalita ni Mayor Cayetano na
naging mainit ang pagtanggap ng mga negosyante sa
programa noong nagdaang taon kung saan 6,377 ang bilang
ng nga transaksyon na nai-proseso. Ito ay di - hamak
na mas marami kumpara sa record ng nagdaang administrasyon.
“Kung pagbabatayan ang mga numero ay masasabi
nating buong-buo ang kumpiyansa ng business community
sa estilo ng pamamahala ni Mayor Lani,” ayon
kay Icay.
Samantala, tiniyak ni Mayor Lani na laging maghahanap
ng paraan ang kanyang administrasyon para mapadali
at mapabilis ang transaksiyon ng mga negosyante sa
city hall.
Kabilang sa mga departamento na nagse-serbisyo sa
One-stop Shop Program ng Taguig ay ang Treasurer’s
Office; Assessor’s Office para sa real property
tax; Fire Department; Sanitation; General Services
Office at ang BPLO.###
