Western Union launching of TANYAG library

The local government of Taguig and Western Union Foundation led the launching of the first Technology Aiding Nation’s Youth to Accelerate Growth (TANYAG) library at EM’s Signal Village Elementary School last October 9.

In celebration of its 25th anniversary in the Philippines, Western Union Foundation together with Western Union Agents eBiz, Petnet, USSC and DA5 have donated $65,000 for TANYAG libraries that will be established in public schools.

The TANYAG program aims to donate 25 multi-media equipment and learning tools to 25 elementary public schools across the country that will enhance the school’s literacy program.

EM’s Signal Elementary School in Taguig is the first chosen recipient of TANYAG library.

In attendance were Mayor Lani Cayetano, Western Union Executive Jean Claude Farah, President, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe and CIS.
